  • cheapest ... = music will suck

  • @JSprayaEntertainment Logical somehow... but not necessarily, check out my other videos and listen to NOMAD THEORY, recorded and mixed with all my cheap equipment (I mean... I dont have protools with an analog rack of effects and procesors). Cheap or expensive, equipment its just a tool, if you now how to use it you can achieve pretty cool things.

  • @JSprayaEntertainment Well... cheap stuff that sound "good" its a good start... and then you understand better about sound and recording for a better equipment (not necesseraly the expensive one but implies the thing)

The best nugget I can suggest is use your ears not eyes. Be familiar enough with good recordings to know what one should sound like. Then you don't have to strain the truth from 100 different suggestions.

Your own good taste, in combination with effective mic technique, and knowledge of how to cut unneeded frequencies with an EQ is the best advice.

People are often stuck on the idea that a certain box will ensure good recordings but truth is...crap in crap out.

  • @auto4union

I use the (discontinued) duel tube MP in conjunction with the (now discontinued) ART Duel Leveler or ART TCS. They are the nicest three ART boxes ever made and far better than what they currently sell.

  • @morninggloryseed Thanx Bro` ! Never heard of that one before ! Was thinking of getting another ART Pre(The Cheaper one ) so if im recording or playing with my missus or bro`s etc we can both have a Tube ! I know the ART pre has 2ins and outs but you can only use one setting for both ! Thanx again ! Any other nuggets of music making info always appreciated ! Peace Ye`All !!

  • @auto4union

it is worth looking for the now discontinued ART Duel Tube MP. It is FAR quieter than the TPSII and each channel gets its own tube (in the TPSII both channels share a tube).

  • presonus the best, jajajajaajaajajaj

  • Yeah mate ! Got the same Pre amp last week and i am hugely impressed ! Voice,Acoustic guitar,Bass etc all have an added warmth ! Really glad i got it ! I Paid £69 Sterling for it but those guys at "Limitless Studios" paid $30 USA.....! Man...? We really get shafted big style in Britain ! Still think it`s worth it anyway and would highly recommend it to anyone ! Peace Ye`all !!

  • What am i on.... ! I meant to say M-Audio Fast Track ! Not M-Box ! DOH...! Peace Ye`all !!

  • Yeah mate ! I`m totally getting one of those ART Pre Amps ! Total bargain ! Plus I refuse to "Upgrade" to the M-Box usb2 when the one i have should have had phantom powered mic` input in the first place ! Some of these companys are pretty cynical about making you have to get the next version sometimes only a few months after you`ve bought the product ! Peace Ye`all !
