he was adopted. I rescued another over the summer, I will have a video of her up soon. It took me months to get her weight and hooves sound enough to start training. :)

good job but why is a dressage based (?) rider using a western saddle to start a young horse?

I train most of my unbroke horses in a western saddle, at 42, I do not want to hit the ground anymore than possible. LOL I have these saddles custom made for me, it is a dressage seat with just more leather around me. Also remember this was a wild horse. Not even freindly to humans, he ended up being just great!!
