  • @2007markb - it's the nuclear ship, but not sure if it's being converted to diesel. i think it's in limbo right now.

    The boat is over 50 years old.

    You would have to spend many times the amount it cost to build a new boat to renovate the Savannah,

    And when you are finished you still have a boat that is more than 50 years old,

  • The Savanna was launched in 1959! I had to look that up on Wikipedia. So it's a Museum Ship now, account of it's so old.
