That was epic!! If I had to use one of those things, I would kill myself and half the band trying to spin it. :) however, when you march, your knees seem straighten a bit too much through your step. The knee should always be just a tad bit as to make your step as smooth as possible. Feet rolling looked great! Awesome job! :)

The Band Director added that Half time march in the middle because it was a way to help boost showmanship scores

I wanna learn the cane walk so bad :[. And also would she get points taken off for not extending all the way up in parades since she sisnt a scottish drum major?

Usually yes, not fully extending would affect your score. This is just a bad habit she had that was kind of hard to fix because she was already used to beating time like that.The way she beats time in the video is actually like Military Band style, not American Marching Band style. AMB style would have full extention that you mentioned while MB (like Scottish/British) is a little more relaxed. However AMB style is more appropriate for street competitions.
