It WAS beautiful, no joke. I got him tickets to this game for his 50th birthday. My dad isn't the most emotional man in the world, but when that banner dropped he left out the biggest cheer and he started crying. He told me it was the greatest birthday he's ever had:) Seeing him so overjoyed made me teary-eyed, too. It was a great day.

I felt so lucky to be there on Opening Day! I've spent my whole life just hoping the Sox would win ONE World Series.....to have them win 2 in such a short period of time still seems like a dream! The moment that brought tears to my eyes that day was watching Billy Buckner throw out that first pitch. That was a moment for the ages...*s*
