  • As a doctor said when asked if the parents should attempt the diet on their son who was diagnosed with Asperger's,'Why not? It won't hurt him." This boy changed dramatically from the diet, was able to get off his medications (2 anti-psychotics and an anti-depressant) with supplementation from Marvalous Omega-3 made from sage. Fish oil didn't work for him. He has since been declassified and only has slight learning disabilities now. I teach and have a master in spec.ed. I saw this myself!

  • In 1991 Kaale Reichelt, at the University of Norway discovered that many children on the autism spectrum, when they ate gluten in casein had a certain peptide in their urine. This was the same peptide as found in the urine of people who took opioid drugs such as cocaine or morphine. It is impossible to test children for anything other than celiac. We know some kids with autism respond and others don't. There are no conclusive studies as to which kids on the ASD will benefit.

  • Gluten free cured me of my childhood attention problems, but not until I was 34. Don't let the doctors milk you like me. Trying the diet never hurt anyone. Waiting can cause damage.

  • What studies have been done that show that a gluten free diet is not benificial to a person with Autism?
