Since when has RED stopped meaning STOP? This has nothing to do with design. Bad drivers always blame the road... slack engineers always blame the architect...shoddy painters blame their brush. We're such a faultless society of whingers. Tsk!

92.5% of red light runners are women between the ages of 21 to 39 as longitudinal studies have yielded. Women make are streets and highways unsafe. No wonder they are the ones that commit a higher rate of infidelity and lie just as much more than men.

The automobile is the worst thing that has happened to America. The car lowers the quility of life (for everyone, execpt for the driver), it drives the US in to wars for oil, cars kill tens of thousands every year and the car is driving America bankrupt..

well in vegas we can turn right on red but have to stop and make sure it is clear and even when it turns green for the straight lanes we can turn right and the walking sign actually turns on at the same time. we just have to learn to watch for pedestrians and not only really on lights. let us learn to watch for others and care for others.

A dedicated right turn light is unusual and most people probably only look at the traffic light ahead of them like they're accustomed to.
