@charmsspicerub We are usually there Sunday mornings from around 8-9:30.

What fun! We want to take our dogs to Dash Point to go swimming. We heard there is a leash law but that no one enforces it if your dogs are well-behaved. Is this true? or is there a place where it is okay for them to go - like where Henry is?

@charmsspicerub Dash Point State Park is not an official dog park, but I take Henry there early in the morning when there are very few people without dogs there.

@charmsspicerub Another option that I like even better now, is Brown's Point Lighthouse Park down the road a few miles from Dash Point. This a a really lovely smaller park with a nice mowed grassy area and the same opportunities for dogs to swim. It seems to be an official off-leash park.

@charmsspicerub It's a rocky beach (not sand) but Henry and the other dogs we meet there seem to enjoy it just as much as the Dash Point beach. Plus they love to play with each other on the grass. And we have met really nice people who go there with their dogs regularly.
