Frank Lives He is alive and well in Dweezil. He has the Zappa guitar style down. Dweezil is a monster in his own right as well.

I've been a big Zappa fan for 40 yrs and have been playing guitar that long myself. I saw Frank 3x but unfortunately missed Zappa Plays Zappa. Dweezil is a much better guitar player than Frank ever was (despite the many great solos that I love), but he also had the advantage of growing up around Frank and playing with many wonderful musicians like Steve Vai... also the equipment and general knowledge of guitar techniques is much better nowadays. Dweezil is a fine player, hope I will see him.

it is cool that im actually hearing Dweezil play not Frank. What i mean by this is Dweezil has studied so much his father's playing that sometimes it is like hearing a good imitation but in this particular video im really listening dweezil with a very good absorbed zappa language not just imitation!

cause his music is so unique and complex and funny and challenging to listen to that it never gets boring
