Justin Hayward wrote this song when he was 19. I was a little older the first time I heard it. "Days of Future Past" is still among my favorite albums. I decided to learn this song but I decided not to put the poetry, which was written by the drummer Graeme Edge. Let me know what you think.

  • what's the strum pattern for this? I can't seem to get it right :(

  • I think it changes throughout the song. I start with d-dddd, I'll have to play it again and try to remember. it just sort of comes to me.

  • Thanks for keeping the K in the song. It means a lot to a certain group of us. It can change the meaning or universalize it for the more open minded. "Paint it Black"? Oh well, anyway, a touching rendition. Thanks for a very worthy effort. jerseyite jim

  • u really fuked this song up

  • Yes, there are many singers that have incredible range...but yah know, it's really about sharing your heart with the audience...and you have a BIG one...It's also about truth...you can't fool the audience...so sing brother. Do you think Bob Dylan had a range? Feel it and sing it and the audience will love you!!! 5 stars again!!! Looking forward to hearing more.
