The House Judiciary Committee held a hearing Wednesday into the impact of head injuries on football players. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith both spoke to the committee. (Oct. 28)

  • The problem is that these large players are moving too fast with such force. So when they hit each other its like a 35 mph car crash. Which causes the brain to slam into the skull. It is unavoidable no matter how well the protective gear is.
