I think everyone should keep in mind here that it's 1982 and there weren't many avenues to exploit anything...this, to me looks like a family video. She does look a little put off (as any 11 year old would) with taking direction from her father but I think it's worth something that they believed in her ability and it may be the reason she has become the singer/songwriter she is today.

this is kinda disturbing in many levels...she is so cute and has a wonderful voice at 11!!!! i just hate when children are exploited like that...especially with showtoons....ummmm kinda "old" for her age!!!!!!

her dad forced her into singing and that is horrible. the reason her dad pushes her to sing is because he wants to become famous for being her dad and wants credit for making her become famous. But today she is very pretty and is very famous. Her dad got what he wanted.
