Okay, there seems to be a little debate as to who copied who in regards to this theme. I can't believe I even have to point this out but:

Pokemon Crystal release date (US): July 29, 2001
Pokemon Emerald release date (US): April 30, 2005

Now how could Crystal have possibly copied Emerald?

Crystal version is over 10 years old and I never knew that it had a Battle Tower.... then again, I never did get past Sudowoodo.

@DannyV1991 ruby didn't have moving sprites and after emerald they all had moving sprites
