That was a wonderful review . It must have taken you months to plan shoot and edit .And the fake food made the entire church group laugh and laugh we all watched it together as we hope to use it for our services on sundays so the people that couldn't make it could still enjoy the service .Do you think you would be interisted in joining our church ? We would love to have you attend and perhaps shoot the service ?

Great review Davyo. I'm trying to choose one as a xmas gift for my wife. Her prime use would be for band clips in bars and clubs. (For my band's website) Sound will matter. I was looking at the Vado HD, but leaning towards the Mino HD primarily for the compact size and simplicity. Would you recommend the Mino HD for this usage? I wonder how the sound quality compares within the Flip line. I'm worried about over modulation. Being a band guy, and a video guy, you're the one to ask! Thanks.

@rsvpBrighton For band stuff I would HIGHLY recomend the brand new Zoom Q3HD, just got one to record my band and it works great, samples can be found here on YT.

If sound matters dont even look at any other cam,,,, the Zoom Q3HD is that good !!!!

Davyo, always love to hear people concur with my opinion. Also a video camera junkie....have three vados, two like the one you reviewed here, and one of those 3rd generation pieces of shit which I save for the more dangerous missions, half hoping that it will not survive. I'd like to hear your opinion about the waterproof kodak playsport....got one of them and think it's a fine piece of kit, really nicely put together.

Great video! One of the best Camcorder review vids i've seen yet on here! Did you use movie maker to edit this vid? Have you tried Windows Live Movie Maker? It has some really nice title animations that the other one does'nt have & it accepts Mpeg 2 files, which the other one does'nt!
