i love this movie to death. the action is fantastic and the visuals are striking. i just wish the story was a little more solid. but its bad ass either way.

@mss442009 I agree. The Fountain was a movie based around a similar concept. How when we are at our most desperate hour. And we feel no escape. We will do anything to free ourselves. When our bodies are kept from the world, our minds will release us. Our imagination will set us free. YET, The Fountain is praised and Sucker Punch is Not. The girls dancing is clearly their way of releasing there mind from the prison in which they are trying to escape. And we get a front row seat into their minds.

Each sequence is related to the object the girls are trying to obtain for their escape. A map. World War I is a pretty suitable place for Babydoll's imagination. War all around, it's a huge risk, right? The girls are trying to escape, it's like fighting a WAR! Get it? Every sequence involves a situation where the girls are FIGHTING and risking their lives! Same thing in real life! This movie is a misunderstood, underappreciated, unfairly reviewed, masterpiece.
