This song IS great, the reason many people don't like it is due to it not being in the original version of the movie. The fact of the matter is if they had kept it in the original movie no one would have a problem with it, honestly I dont know what people are talking about when they say it ruins it. In my opinon it just makes the movie all the better and shows the difference of ruler all the more not to mention Simba acting like a child.

so i wanted to watch one of my favorite childhood movies of all time, but when i streamed it, this song was in there, and ruined it for me. the original was so much better, not only did it actually work with the pouncing lesson, but at the same time, Zazu would say these jokes that only the adults would get, such as, "I told the elephants to forget, but they can't" and whatnot, it was actually comical. Sad what Disney does nowadays to try and make a fast buck instead of good enjoyment. *sigh*...

@narutonemisis3 I think people don't necessarily dislike the song itself, so much as the fact that it was chosen for the special edition over a lot of other better songs in the musical. Granted, He Lives In You was used in LK2, but, let's face it, that movie needed that song's help.
