@EOCB Yes. Her sync ratio was at 300%. Now I'm not sure how to explain how it happened beyond that, since my theory is...in that case wouldn't she just feel, really really CLEARLY, what it would feel like if it was split.
But since her arm actually split...let's not think about what happened once the MP Evas finished having their way with her.

@EOCB I beleive it did, either that or it was symbolizing what happened, if you rememebr near the Ed of the movie. She has an eye patch and a rap on her arm; remember te Eva and it's pilot are connected through the nervesystem that's why they feel pain. I was rushing lol think I miss spelled nervesystem (:

That is not the first time something like that happened. On the directors cut of episode 23, Rei's Eva is being fused with an angel and you can see little angels/Rei's poping out of her body just like on her Eva. Maybe that was also symbolic or maybe the emotions Rei was getting from the Eva changed her physical body, mind over matter. That is one of the main topics of the anime, episode 25 and 26 talk a lot about that.
