  • @themanofearth His point is we are incapable of getting to God on our own. We MUST go through Jesus Christ who MUST do all of the work because we aren't able to do it. If you want to call it outsourcing then fine; but you have been commanded to repent of your lying, stealing, coveting, anger, and idolatry (among other things). Believe what God has told you and live. Disbelieve and die in your sins and you will eternally avoid "outsourcing" and face God's judgment yourself.

  • @CrazyMastodon If you do not believe that the Bible is the Word of God for reasons which are answered I'm sure by several distinguished intelligent people, what is your basis for believing that there are many shepherds to one destination?

  • @CrazyMastodon see " Why 2012 'enlightenment will lead to genocide" - by Chris White on Nowheretorun channel. No matter who or where you are, jungle or city - when you call out to any God at all, to see if any God is out there, Jesus is the only one to turn up - why? Cos there's only one.and it's Jesus -- I know from experience and i was a Darwinist, ''all roads lead to Rome, many paths to God'' type before that. In fact i wasnt even sure if God was real. He is.

  • @presbeee History provides a basis for believing that there are many ways to God. If this wasn't the case, then one would expect that it's only the Christians that are producing 'good fruit'. That's just not true, though. People from other world religions make just as much (if not more) spiritual progress than do Christians.

  • @HellRehab

    So what?

  • @aveyowyns

I don't mean to start something up, but Christians visit atheist channels all the time. They criticize the content often in rude ways.

The issue here is whether or not the person who posted the video allows comments, or censors some, or even all comments. Quite a few Christian channels censor any dissenting opinions. Kudos to the guy who posted this and allows free speech.

However, atheists should avoid foul language on Christian channels like this one. It's a matter of context.

  • @the13thof12 "His point is we are incapable of getting to God on our own. We MUST go through Jesus Christ who MUST do all of the work because we aren't able to do it."

That depends on what kind of work. Because we can't do nothing RIGHT without God. But with faith in Jesus nothing is impossible and we can do lots of good things when we do them according to the word of God. In Jesus is salvation, but faith in Jesus must not be just a religious flag. Rather serving and live ONLY for our saviour.

  • @presbeee Sorry, you can't mix logic and religion, it doesn't work. Your argument only works if you believe the Bible, which I don't. Jesus claimed to be the only way according to people who wrote about him and then had their writings edited centuries later. Sorry, I'm glad you think that Jesus is the only way, but others like me don't. I certainly hope you don't believe in rapture, because you are most likely to be proven wrong in the next several hours. =)

  • @CrazyMastodon Hey Crazy Mastodon, I am glad that you watch Mark Driscoll, but would encourage you to realize that Jesus claimed to be the only way in John 14:6. Acts 4:12 also confirms that Christ is the only way. So, if Jesus is not a liar, which He is not because it is impossible for Him to lie Titus 1:2 and Hebrews 6:18, He must be the only way.

  • Well not all of us are dumb sheep and we think for ourselves. Jesus isn't the only shepherd and his way isn't the only way. It is a good way, but those sheep that follow him seem to put on blinders to the rest of us who follow another shepherd to the same destination and think that Jesus is the only shepherd. See? I can do parables and analogies too. =)
