hey guys , i 'm considering this experiment as a potential design experiment for high school . i've decided to investigate factors which affect its rate.
If you search on Google "Briggs-Rauscher reaction" you'll find it I think.
As for watching it, ther must be Iode element (atom I), and the blue color comes from Thioden (molécule with Iode too).
These reactions aren't during very long. The oscillating curve shows that after 20-25 minutes I think the reaction is over. But if you search you'll find much better reactions ;)
vous connaissez les composants? et le pourquoi de cette oscilassion? température (solution exo et ando termique style le changement de couleur se fait a 30°C le liquide incolore est a 30.5°C refroidi, devient bleu mais dans une réaction exotermique et repasse au dessus de 30°C?) ou reaction due a l'entropie?
