Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak joined the Minnesota Orchestra for its Young People's concerts this week to narrate local composer Steve Heitzeg's The Tin Forest. During one of the work's moments that calls for student participation, Rybak revved up the young audience with an impromptu dance session, making his way up and down the aisles of Orchestra Hall.
The concerts marked a milestone: 100 years of Minnesota Orchestra Young People's concerts.
