1st Stop and Frisk of 2012

The incarceration of young minority men and poor New Yorkers is far to profitable for the NYPD to abandon their Stop and Frisk program. The 4th amendment which is suppose to protect citizens against illegal search and seizure is ignored by the NYPD so they can keep prison cells filled and court house lines wrapped around the corner each morning.

The NYPD is the highest funded police department in the world and they keep demanding more and more tax payer dollars to fight the crime that they are creating by going after poor people with expensive tickets and summons they can not afford to pay.The NYPD has been proven themselves time and time again to be thieves, rapist, drug dealer, gun runners, pimps, murderers, and ruthless thugs.

There is no crime that NYPD officers have not been caught engaging in but they demand money and compliance from a population that has been stripped of their Constitutional rights. Without the right to bare arms and protects one's self and family, the people are now dependent on the police that are extorting them through intimidation and brute force. For decades blacks and Latinos have been the primary victims of the NYPD's incarceration scheme, but now when the economy has totally begun to collapse ... everyone has become fair game.

The money they extract from the poor is used to buy more cameras, license plate readers, high powered weapons, build fusion centers and detention camps while mentally militarizing the police against the People. This is just the beginning as poverty stricken neighborhoods are bombarded with traffic tickets, summons and men kidnapped and held in jail until ransom or bail can be paid.

All this in the height of an economic depression is guaranteed to reach a boiling point. Society has become a powder keg waiting to blow and NYPD is ready and waiting with plastic handcuffs and detention centers to jail all those that break down under this extreme totalitarian oppression.

were you there from the intial contact these ppl had with police? if not then how do you know police are targeting young blacks and latinos? it couldve have been a simple traffic stop raised from running a red light/stop sign or having tints etc. this is what you call PROBABLE CAUSE which raises SUSPICION....your mad cops are stopping these young kids but what if they didnt stop them and they had a weapon and used it against u? then the cops wouldnt be doing their jobs right?

@Breeezy2491 Everyone knows the police are targeting Blacks and Latinos because NYPD's own records show that they are. If this motorist had committed a traffic infraction he would have gotten a ticket and been sent on his way but it is clear these cops were looking to make 3 arrest and not write tickets. Further more I wouldn't want innocent people to be searched without probable cause because of the scenarios you think up to justify racial profiling and police corruption.

@nycresistance not true plain clothes cops main goal is to get guns and drugs off the street so if u ran a red light or a stop sign they will pull u over regaurdless of color they know a violation was made but they really looking for guns or drugs .so by u running that stop sign now they have the right to stop u and check your car and the officer have whats called discertion mean i handle the situation the way i want it to be handle

@thekid7285 Well the NYPD has been exercising this "discertion" you speak of overwhelming on minorities. Further more I don't see how you can justify removing people from their vehicle and searching them and it for a mere traffic infraction. I guess since they have been given the authority to exercise "discertion" which obviously supersedes probably cause (4th amendment) we should just accept the NYPD rummaging through our property looking for ways to incarcerate us... I got it.

As a kid you grow up being told cops are your friends, but they are evil. PURE EVIL. I got thrown in jail, picked up off the streets, finger printed. Kept in a cell with a mix of good and bads. Was not given anything i could eat, stayed in jail for almost 2 days. All because officers thought i was selling drugs. : / Ran my record. CLEAN, never had any trouble, saw my college ID, and work ID. Boy did they feel stupid. At the end of the whole thing let me out the back door, as if i was never there

this police state is out of control im white and its bad enough, now they are putting in red spotlights to point at people that MIGHT commit a crime orwellian, minority report PRE CRIME systems in conjunction with cctv cameras on the streets of NJ, and they want terra hz wave naked body scanners to be used on the street in NY,this is insane, what happened to the 4th amendment? stop and frisk is ILLEGAL and UNCONSTITUTIONAL BULLSHIT
