Friends, Please visit my Poet friend "Passing Through's" YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/PassingThroughPT - Thanks :)

Ernesto Guevara de la Serna (June 14, 1928 -- October 9, 1967), commonly known as Che Guevara, El Che or just Che was an Argentine-born Marxist revolutionary, political figure, and leader of Cuban and internationalist guerrillas.

As a young man studying medicine, Guevara travelled throughout South America, bringing him into direct contact with the impoverished conditions in which many people lived. His experiences and observations during these trips led him to the conclusion that the region's socio-economic inequalities could only be remedied by socialism through revolution, prompting him to intensify his study of Marxism and travel to Guatemala to learn about the reforms being implemented there by President Jacobo Arbenz Guzmán.

While in Mexico in 1956, Guevara joined Fidel Castro's revolutionary 26th of July Movement, which seized power from the regime of the dictator General Fulgencio Batista in Cuba in 1959. In the months after the success of the revolution, Guevara was assigned the role of "supreme prosecutor",overseeing the trials and executions of hundreds of suspected war criminals from the previous regime. After serving in various important posts in the new government and writing a number of articles and books on the theory and practice of guerrilla warfare, Guevara left Cuba in 1965 with the intention of fomenting revolutions first in Congo-Kinshasa, and then in Bolivia, where he was captured in a military operation supported by the CIA and the U.S. Army Special Forces.Guevara was summarily executed by the Bolivian Army in the town of La Higuera near Vallegrande on October 9, 1967.

  • @TheWrick09 I have lost nothing. The message of his life was a lie. Open my brain when you talk about Castro? Cuba no death penalty. Don't need one in commie country because you just end up missing. There are still innocent people in Castor dungeons. Elections? How stupid you must be. People have risked their lives and died to escape the oppression of Casto. Che didn't just execute criminals, he personally shot and murdered many innocent people who just disagreed with him.

  • @MaMonkey500 haha, typical commie wanna be living in a capitalistic country, go try hitchhiking in North Korea!..

  • comme sta senor bandito...ola!

  • @AnthonyReigns Your points are well taken. But I am taking about the freedom that both of us are enjoying right now. Communicating our opinions over the internet. Cubans are not allowed to do this. Corporations are made of of millions of people, who work, get paid, own stock in the company, etc. It is not some evil entity. Some of the things you mention do happen in the US, but are not the norm, nor a good argument for communism.

  • @lookhearseee Yeah I see what you mean and you are right in a sense. But your freedom is different than my freedom. One of the greatest flaws that capitalism has is how private companies have political power and influence. These are capitalist dictators. Banking systems have grabbed america by the balls with usury. Oil companies can influence an invasion/war. Car companies can effect a national recession. Health insurance and repo men can legally claim all you have. Freedom?

  • @AnthonyReigns Well, the discussion was about Cuba vs USA, nevertheless I still disagree, capitalism is always changing, ups and downs, good times, bad times, but over time, the benefits are far preferable to a system lacking personal incentive, private ownership, liberty and freedom. Notice how communist countries always have a dictator who is in power for decades? Who in their right mind can defend this?
