Didn't say you bashed anybody. You might be right, but I never listened this album enough because it somewhat has a lot more stoner than doom.
The starts from Witchcult Today, Dunwich and Satanic Rites of Drugula are pretty much the very same. And then the guitar at the start is too.
You are right. But Torquemada hasn't got that start.
You can pretty much say these guys became into sell-outs like the rest. That's why their 2010 album sucked ass.

@215day Not all of Black Masses is shit though,the songs Black Mass,Venus In Furs & Patterns Of Evil were all pretty good I would say. But I see your point and for the most part I would have to agree that Black Masses was not their best. At least they have 6 other albums to listen to that are all great ?

Yeah, I wasn't specific, Black Masses had some good songs and some bad songs, though there's no thing as good or bad, it's just opinions, I wouldn't recommend Black Masses unless you want the songs you mentioned.
The 6 other albums are great, especially "Let us Prey", that's probably the most purest Psychedelic/Stoner Doom Metal album they did.
