My church would let these bands play at a Sunday service because this is a praise to the LORD our GOD so quit spamming rock vids because this is how I praise God

@Hslade360 My friend is at Youth Pastor, went with his group to Winterfest a few years back. A BUNCH of them "PROFESSED" to be saved. Within two years NONE of them are going to church! Professions mean nothing. Though someone can genuinely get saved there, it will be DESPITE the unholy music, not because of it. Music is for WORSHIP, not for evangelism. @Hslade360 He isn't my youth pastor, he is my friend, who IS a youth Pastor, and he has realized since then that the C-rock is fleshly, sensual and devilish. He is against it. He has seen the stuff tear up churches, and leave youth in love with the world. Their so called "Converstions" are usually just mere emotional 'decisions', that lack the changing power of GOD, because the SINS of the heart are not dealt with, and the heart is not broken up to receive the engrafted word.

Don't listen to this junk. There is nothing wrong with Christian rock because it is not "rooted in voodoo and Satanism." Rock was not started out of voodoo and Satanism, it stemmed from blues and country music. Country musicians are known for openly talking about God. Elvis Presley himself sang gospel music. The Church wonders why it can't reach kids today, and it's because of people like this who refuse to reach out to popular culture and what kids are interested in. Times change!

The Christian News did a article on Carnal Christians. They believe themselves to be Christian. They still live the same way. And many people argue over the name " Carnal Christian" They are carnal and they call their music Christian rock.

If you can't tell it's Christian , listen to the truth about Christian rock again.

I personally think the notion Christian Rock is evil is unbiblical in itself, but taking a reasonable debate to the point of bickering isn't beneficial to the Kingdom at all! Remember what Paul wrote about eating meat in Romans - it's not wrong, but if it's hurting your brother's conscience, then you should be sensitive to him. "Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment on disputable matters" @martinthezman can't in good conscience listen to rock, so just accept his weaker faith.

@martinthezman I would also add more ancient music... Mozart was a free mason. The Music we have nowadays comes from Pythagoras. All the greek philosophers were not did not believe in God but in man thus in Satan. Pythagoras is at the root of the "theory of mood" used very much in Baroque music. That theory is about curing "mood" read (mental) illnesses (anger, depression,...) by re-balancing moods by playing music. As such I would say that most of the music is Satanic.
