FYT Associate Artistic Director Walter Hill takes us into the first week of rehearsal of The Neverending Story. From staging to cast members take a look at the beginning process of a timeless classic soon to be on stage at Flint Youth Theatre.

As the 2009-10 aptly themed season "Out of Many, One: Inspiring Stories of Conscience, Responsibility, and Hope" comes to a close with The Neverending Story, there remains a question; Are you willing to face your fear of the unknown on a journey to help others?

When a young boy, Bastian, is called upon to save the world of Fantastica, he discovers his imagination is his best hope for saving that world. He encounters incredible creatures of all shapes and sizes, some in battle, and others in aid during his journey. It is in this new realm where he discovers the courage needed to succeed in both worlds.
