It's been a terrible summer. But I will have some exciting news soon.

  • Educational Videos are much more Work, I know that. And it's a pitty that most people fail to see that. So, please keep up the work and don't give up on the weather ;)

  • Over in Sydney, our weather is pretty extreme too. Cold in winter that it hurts to breathe outside, and hot enough that entering a car parked on the street on a hot day, then touching the seat belt clasp will actually burn your hand...

I see your backyard hasn't been carnaged by the storms yet (...?)

  • My favorite German borrowing from English is what we call a cell in Canada. The German "handy" is soo much more interesting to my ears.

  • It hasn't been great weather in England this month so far either.

I can see that you are cultivating sideburns, so the 1970s must be back round again! ;-)

  • in NRW it's the same weather :D

  • Looking forward to your next video!

  • Gotta love German summers. Hope you get to the next round. Good luck. We love your travel videos.

  • I actually had lecture this semseter about language contact and the resulting borrowing, degrading and bastardisation (etc etc) that comes off that.

    An interesting factoid:

The french actually have a government department dealing with this issue.

They want to preserve and regulated - or campaing against - the eroding of the french language.

But since all they can do is make pointless poster campaigns and everyone keeps talking like they want to the whole facility is basically useless.

  • I very much enjoyed your Next-up video.

I hope that there will be others in the same line of educational, local travel documentaries.

I like those quite much ^^
