This is the loom my Fiance made for me by hand. He used a piece of oak for the base and nails. Now I'm making a lovely scarf with it.
I saved myself about $9.99 by having him make the loom. The only cost I had was buying the yarn, which at Walmart cost about $2.50.

  • Love this, my day used to make me, knobby knitters when I was young using old spools from thread. He used brads and I made long ropes with it.

I want to make a small round one for preemie hats I have the large ones .

Thanks for showing me it can be done.

  • Thank you so much for your response.

  • If you have a JoAnn's near you they have yarn of 1lb for like 6.99 and really nice yarn too...More colors then Walmart does.

Micheals has more colors too, but I'm not sure on the prices.
