@Alejandroenfuego If the champagne is chilled properly then you won't get any spilling as seen here in this video. If you've just spent $150-300 on a bottle of Champagne, you don't want ANY of it needlessly spilling...
Exactly. That was very intelligent, as you do NOT use the sharp side of any tool to saber champagne, you use the DULL side, which has a much fatter, square edge. That's what you want for sabering champagne. You also want to make sure some champagne spills out when you do this, so it expels any glass remnants.
