Yes, he is ignoring a lot of smaller religions, but saying he speaks for all of em. He also ignores that all these Bibles often contradict themselves. Indeed, I do think that the Christian Bible said anyone who believed in God of any religion was going to heaven.

Thing is, some religions think all religions are all worshiping one God (Cree, par exemple). The larger religions tend to say that their God is true because they wanted to gain power over another.

Don't use the majorities to speak for all.

The majorities usually are majorities because of historical instances, which have created and altered their more specific ideas (anti-homosexualism in Christianity was a lash at the Greeks to make Christianity more popular).
