I think the "ringing like a bell" refers to seismic sensors we placed on the surface to test its crust composition, not a lunar module crash that never happened. But these people have no credibility as scientists, historians or just plain old fact-checkers. There are many plausible theories on the moon's origins which are pretty interesting, so I say do your own research!

I say the moon is made of cheese! ..and it's very fabulously tasty. to humans and humanoid aliens. also to lamas. yet the outer crust is very old, thus we think it's rock. but inside..there's an aroma..

Yes we are dependent on the moon to survive but that doesn´t make it mystical.

It is like a frog, living in a puddle, saying; "The landscape is perfectly shaped to make me survive, therefor I must worship the puddle!".

I don't believe in a God, also not the moon is traveled to earth by aliens. When you ask me: Don't you believe in another civilization? Then i answer: Yes, for shore there must be, but there are limits to me. I think they too far away from us. Why do i believe in another civilization then? Because: If there was no intelligent life in the universe, then we don't exist also. But the moon is just nature.
