  • You need to relax. I'm willing to bet you that the guy who filmed this lived to talk about it. These videos are all over youtube so stop whining like a bitch because it won't accomplish nor change anything.

  • Do you know what seat you were sitting and what class please

  • what seat is that?

  • 2:01

  • @NchlasBlair68 trent 700s probably an A to A sharp sound

    trent 800s probably a F sharp to G sound

    IAEs definately as you said.

  • @vanhalo What about on the IAE V2500s or the Trent 700/800s? I'm hoping the IAE V2500s are more sharp than the rest of the RB211s, E-flat or E maybe.

  • All RR engines sound similar - from the Rb211 to the Trent 900. Same three shaft design. Luv them.

  • Different from the 767/747 even though they are from the same family of engines.

  • Alright u got me on the Trents part i should of said RR instead of Trents so yeah i was wrong about that part. However u are still around about 747/767 using the same exact engine as the 757. There are still a big enough difference between them. The RB 211's on the 747/767 are 125 inches and 86.3 inches in diameter while the smaller 757 rb 211s are at 118.5 inches in length and only 73.2 inches in diameter. Still clearly a smaller engine. So point still proven that the 757 RB211's are still

  • my facts are fine. 747s and 767s were never optioned for Trents. Hell the Trent wasnt even around when the 747-100 was flying, only the RB211.Trents are optioned for the 777, the Airbus A330 and A340....not for the 747 and 767 as they are too big to hang under their wings. The RB211s that power the 757 are the same ones that power the 747s and 767 models, jus wit more thrust output and a few mods internally. You need to check your facts dude.

  • No I'm not sure what you are talking about, your facts are all wrong. Trents were always an option for the 747 since the 100 series with the RR RB211's and the 200-400 series all have Trents as optional engines. Both the 747-400 and some variations of the 767 such as the ER and F uses the RB211-524 engines. However they are not to be confused with the RB211-535's used on the 757. Just listen to the engine's of the trents on the 767/747 compared to the 757 they clearly don't sound the same.
