  • No, not an actor alas! Just happened to be on set that day.

  • How lucky for you...so you live on the Channel island of Jersey it was filmed on? What fun.

  • There was a recorded version played on set and the actors sang along to that. So a bit of both ended up in the final score.

  • and you know this how? Just curious..it would be great if you were part of this production, or one of the actors. *lets out a little squee here*

    cheers

  • Hey there, Do you know if there is an actual choir singing this on the movie, or was it the guys on the set. I have never heard this song sung so beautifully!

  • As far as I know it is the actors doing the singing - the country choir - certainly James Murray is able to sing, and the song is simple enough for any competent singer to attempt. There is little information about the music side of this movie, but I'll look into it.

  • I just love how she lets out this little squeal after they finish singing. BTW, what a lovely, sincere way to win back the girl.

  • he's DAMN hot !!!

  • One night as I lay on my bed

I dreamed about a pretty maid.

I was so distressed, I could take no rest,

    Love did torment me so.

So away to my true love I did go.

My love arose and she opened the door,

And just like an angel she stood on the fioor.

Her eyes shone bright like the stars at night,

And no diamonds could shine so.

So in with my true love I did go.

  • The name of the song is, 'One Night as I lay on my bed', and it's an anglo-celtic folk song. Not that anyone cares, because JAMES MURRAY IS EFFIN GORGEOUS. He could sing me the ABC's and I'd still squeak like Miss Fancy Day.
