  • @clewi1091 Well, considering the overwhelming majority of musicians where I am are either flaky as fuck or under some delusion about finding their perfect world ideal project, I, for one, am thankful for software instruments like this. They allow one to actually GET THINGS DONE and eliminate the need to deal with the aforementioned petulant children masquerading as adults. (The ability to actually sing without auto-tuning is mandatory though, so I yield on that point...)

  • @88res Check out the following, either of which may suit you: Trillian from Spectrasonics or Many Bass from ManyTone.

  • @zone4d well said. Or talent in "editing" and such

  • is there anything close to this that's a vst? I'm dying for a good bass guitar sound :(

  • Cool refill

  • @clewi1091 Yes but having a bass player is something else. For example, drummers vs. drum machines. Drummers can improvise a lot, drum on their own, do solos and so forth. A drum machine can do this but it won't be nearly the same, and would require more effort. A bass player would be the same situation.

  • @AscendingLeo I agree it takes skill to play a keyboard. But I just dont like it that you dont have to know how to play an instrument because a program will do it for you. You dont even have to have a bass player or guitar player in a studio anymore to have those instruments for a recording. Just like singer doesnt really have to sing on key anymore to be able to sound good.

  • @clewi1091 I agree with @zone4d a keyboard takes skill to play too.

  • Ummmm! you still need talent to play a keyboard. Its not gonna play itself.

  • just another reason the music industry is going down hill. just like auto tune. its getting to the point where you dont need talented singers or musicians anymore.
