All Hail SINISTER REALM - The True Defenders of American Steel !

Channeling the spirit of (Metal Icons) Ozzy, Dio, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden with an added touch of epic doom metal ala Candlemass, the Allentown Pennsylvania based quintet was formed in the tail end of 2008 as the brainchild of John Gaffney (Pale Divine) and Darin McCloskey (Pale Divine - Falcon) as vocalist Alex Kristof joined the ranks with Guitarist' John Kantner & Keth Patrick rounding out the line up.

Sinister Realm went to work on the 4 track demo & upon completion it drew the attention of the underground metal scene the world over, soon after Shadow Kingdom Record stepped up and signed the band as "The Oracle" was released in August - 2009 w/ Sinister Realm Debuting @ the Sterling Hotel' Rock Room to a respectable crowd of 200+.

Press from around the world hailed the debut album (The Oracle) a success as positive reviews started rolling in from the likes of Kerrang, Terrorizer, Decibal Magazine but soon after McCloskey & Patrick were replaced by Chris Metzger & John Risko and the band began to actively perform live throughout its native Lehigh Valley - Pennsylvania to support the albums release..

Summer 2010 work began on Sinister Realm' sophomore release titled "The Crystal Eye" was completed in Febuary -2011, worldwide release was a few months later (July-2011) the results an even bigger sounding record then the 1st steeped in the tradition of heavy melodic old school rock & prior to the "Crystal Eye" release the band was offered a gig (June 17, 2010) @ Day of the Doom Festival - Wisconsin and soon after a mini tour of the midwest was arranged with stops along the way and back included major cities like PITTSBURGH , INDIANAPOLIS , CHICAGO, & CLEVELAND.
