Budgie free climbing tree

Great news 5.24.11 Sloopy, our blue budgie, will be going to a sanctuary to live and fly free with a flock of other like birds.
Here he got a chance to explore outside his cage in a real tree. He had a blast even tho he dropped ten feet to the soft grass a few times. His flight wings are trimmed so instead he parachutes down with a soft landing. What a good day he had, it just made my heart break to put him back in a cage. He was a rescue. He was an Easter gift to a family that didn't know he was coming and was overwhelmed, then abandoned to a dark cold garage because he was not wanted. NEVER BY A PET AS A SURPRISE!! Bye bye Sloopy, live as free as you can my friend :)
