This short poem was originally a comment I made on another poem by Charles Bryant (brychar66) entitled ' Perception '. However, since I have not uploaded any work in such a long time I decided to make a video of it as well. For better perspective on this poem, you should then also read Charles' work, as well has his notes, for both are reflections upon the same concept. My thanks to you then Charles, your words my morning's muse.

My apologies for not posting in so long a time. It has been a busy and taxing year.

Of Entity

What hollow steps we pace as mere entity of mind
What consolation to realization
At end of days or end of time
That entity seeks to justify naught but self
Though lost in thought of greater being
Still only seeing inner light
As that of source and not reflection
Rejecting then the greater life
For means remain as only means
Although possessed of personal pride
Not seeing we are more than mind

  • I have returned to this a couple of times now, and am sure that further readings would reveal more in your words. Rangy, expansive, 5* poem.

Hello to you again, lovely lady. Thank you for your presence and comment. I'm glad you liked the piece, and I'm glad you stopped by for a viewing. My apologies for not being by your channel in some time. I'm afraid my presence on YT has been quite limited for a while. There is much catching up I need to do, and many an apology to be made. How have you been as of late? Still in the throes of studying for the degree? You must drop me a line to catch me up. Much love to you.

  • I love it my dear! The video is so peaceful:-P I missed you by the way!
