I suspect not a great deal of people have seen this! This is a freebie short promotional video describing what was going to be placed inside the newly-built Millennium Dome (now the O2 Arena) in Docklands, London. They make it sound better than it was but, having gone to the exhibition, I can confirm that they DID do everything they said they were going to do.

  • The Dome was a really terrfic day out, its a shame the press used it as a weapon against the government and made everyone ridicule it. People who didn't go because they don't like to make their own minds up, truely missed out!!

  • @thesnowdens I certainly had a great day there. Some of it was smashing (the Blackadder Imax, the bizarre aeronautics in the Dome, some of the zones) but a few of the zones were terrible. However, it was definitely worth going to and I agree with you.

  • nice production.

all was good until you showed the british lapdog tony blair.

  • It's not my production! I just converted my copy of the video and uploaded it as an historical curio - a bit like Tony.

  • The Dome was a great success! I thoroughly enjoyed my two trips there when it was open. It is just a crying shame that the press failed it.

  • if you think the press told so many lies about the Dome, for all of us who worked there it was a very good time and we all made so many friends,

  • went there in 2000 what a good day out it was

  • @GuildfordGhost I wasn't over keen on the bit where they gave schools the chance to do a show there!! That was a waste of an hour I'll never get back, great for all involved and their parents but for me?...Nah!! Also the beach thing bit was a bit of a let down, as was the body if I'm honest, but on the whole it was a well worthwhile day out!! I lioved nearby and they used to give us free tickets, I took my son about 8 times!!

  • its a great shame that people of this country follow what the media of this country says , I worked there and its the best job i have ever had in my life and will never have another job like it

  • @thesnowdens well we who worked there we all know that the media used it as a political football, but as i say we who worked there knew better than what the media said, its a shame alot of people believe what they read or see in the media,
