British Railways Standard class 7MT (Mixed Traffic) Britannia class locomotive 70000 'Britannia' slowly powers round the tight curves of Willesden Junction High Level station and across the West Coast Mainline.

Britannia was operating the Cathedrals Express from Southend-on-Sea, Essex to Sailsbury, Wiltshire via the North London Line on the 31/08/2011.

  • Nice one! Very atmospheric. The Britannias were an elegant looking design that look 'modern' even today!!! Love the way the driver of the diesel toots. TU :-)
