都立北園高等学校校歌[(C)九曜会]-Song of capital's high school Kitazono

English translation later. この校歌は、校歌では珍しい混声四部合唱曲である。校歌全体は3節で構成されているが、一般的な校歌のように一番、二番、...とおなじメロディーで繰り返されるのではな­く、歌詞・メロディーとも独立した節になっている。節の間には、独立した間奏が入っている。歌詞に地名・場所名がいっさい入っていないのも、校歌としてユニークである。歌­詞に「自由」が入っているのも、校歌としてユニークである。この時代だから書けたので、今では書けない。この曲は、速いテンポで演奏すると一般的な行進曲のイメージになる­。しかしこの動画のようなゆっくりとしたテンポで演奏すると、格調高いイメージとなる。
This song is a school song of the Tokyo metropolitan Kitazono high school. This school song is uncommon mixed voice quartette music in the school song. The whole school song is composed of paragraph 3, but it isn't repeated by the melody which is the same as the 1st, 2nd, ... most like the general school song and becomes an independent paragraph with the lyrics and the melody, too. The independent interlude enters among the paragraphs.
That the place name isn't absolutely stored in the lyrics, too, is unique as the school song. Containing "the liberty" in the lyric, too, is unique as the school song. It was possible to have written, because the era is former. It isn't possible to write, today. When playing this music at the fast tempo, it becomes the image of the general march. However, when playing at the tempo like this video, which is slowly, it becomes a magnificent image.

作詞者：坊城俊民(ぼうじょう としたみ)1917年－1990年
国文学者。1943年－1964年国語科教諭。
東京市にて、堂上華族の嫡子として誕生。父坊城俊良は伯爵で宮内官。神田区駿河台と麻布区笄町に育つ。 学習院高等科を経て、1941年東京帝国大学文学部国文科卒業。
1964年－1977年、石神井高校教頭、池袋商業高校校長、志村高校校長を歴任。
宮内庁式部職嘱託として歌会始講師（こうじ）を務める。歌会始被講会会長。
著書に『焔の幻影』（角川書店）、『末裔』（草美社）、『ふるさとの青春―王朝文学管見―』『京の翳―王朝文学管見―』（共に表現社）などがある。

作曲者：横田 勇（よこた いさむ）1915年－
声楽家。1948年－1960年音楽科教諭。
水戸市出身。1941年東京音楽学校卒業。青森女子師範学校や淀橋第一小学校教諭を勤めながら、1945年東京音楽学校研究科を修了。1960年－1978年小石川高校、­1969年－1978年東京芸大講師を兼任。1978年－1983年武蔵野音大、東京音大講師。文京九中の校歌も作曲。
