Just to clear up any mis-understanding, there are about 7 naturally-"geysering" bored wells in the world. That is to say,that the eruption is natural (and periodic) like a real geyser, but the hole it erupts out of, is a man-bored well.
The water is cold ground-water, but it is powered by a natural build-up of carbon dioxide under the water-table, due to ancient volcanism in the area. Hope this makes sense!!

Ein Geysir ist immer durch warmes Wasser gespeist ein Sprudel hingegen durch Kaltwasser.
Unsere liebe Heimatstadt hat einfach den Namen geändert.
