Yma Sumac antología - Birds

Esta es una rara pista de Sumac, grabada en los primeros años de los 50, es como la primera version de "Chuncho". Es un poco diferente y la diva no hace la famosa triple coloratura al final pero alcanza notas muy agudas.
This is a rare track from the early 50`s and is like the first version of "Chuncho". This is a little different and the diva does not do the double trill at the end but she hits very sharp notes.

thank you so much for sharing this is a beautiful present. My heart is sad tonight after hearing she passed away a few days ago. I am sad because I will never meet her or listen to her voice live. I pray that she comes and sings to me in my sleep and that we dance together in heaven one day. RIP Yma, you made this world a much brighter one, your flame and your Love shine forever.

Many female singers have a 4 octaves singing range, but Yma Sumac had 5 octaves, from D2 to Db7, and her full range is shown in the song ''Chuncho''! She is incredible! :)
