  • I lived in Genoa from 1985 to 1997. It was fun to go to the museum. Every time you go you find something different.

  • @m1chae11956 I take back my last comment (from april). At the end of july 2011, I was in Genoa (on the way to Denver) and I was able to see the Rockies from there, so there is something to see after all. Sorry about my comment.

  • My family visited the tower in early June 2011 on a whim while on a road trip to Colorado. We were the only ones there so it felt a little eerie, but it was such a neat and quirky place. Glad we took the time to stop and check it out (I took some pics but your video gives a much better perspective)

  • uhhh.... why is there a viewing tower in the middle of the great plains? Isn't Genoa in eastern Colorado? No wonder there's nothing to see from it.

  • Then, when we had perused the entire museum, we took a picture with him and he informed us that we should throw three pennies in the penny wishing well. I did and wished that the girl i was with would be.. haha i feel douchy for even saying this but mine forever. We are getting married this summer. Thank you Genoa tower!!

  • I made a wrong turn heading back to south dakota from denver (I know i'm retarded) and ended up going through Genoa with a girl I was in love with (At the time it was a feeling un-reciprocated) and we saw the tower and stopped to find out exactly what this crazy tower's story was. A very old man greeted us at the door and charged us a dollar for the tour and asked us a bunch of hilarious questions about his old farm equipment and tools. This friggen tower was so awesome.
