  • This machine is more than adequate for most businesses especially if you intend to install XP on it.

The people who say - this is rubbish have very little idea what a business want from a computer.

For those who are questioning why there it has serial and parallel ports -please learn about legacy hardware and the prevalence of these within businesses.

  • This got to be a joke, right?

1GB RAM is the absolute minimum, but no DVI port!? Unbelievable they forgot that!

  • stabily is not a word yank

  • How good are these for expanbility or the A55, which I know is very similar, anyway

  • @FRURMELLL When HD tv's started coming out a lot of them had DVI as opposed to HDMI at the time.

  • over rated

  • IBM set the standard,, All others are IBM compatible,, Dell ,Gateway, Acer, HP, ect. ect. I think IBM is decent!

  • This would be good for productivity software like Photoshop, SketchUp and even AutoCAD. I could use this to craft numerous documents.

  • @JohnnyCacheGer No one I know uses DVI. I never saw a monitor with one. And we have brand new Core 2 Duos at my school. And: 1 gb is decent enough for regular tasks.

  • @JamieJWSmith The ONLY thing good about it is the processor. Which is DEFINITELY overkill. A Dual Core would be perfect or even a Pentium 4. My pentium 4 rig is better than this one and it cost around 380 dollars...

  • Upgrade the RAM, and the graphics and this'll be an AWESOME gaming rig!

  • you all say it's crap but cant back it up. if it can last longer that 10 years in a school office or at home and still work then it aint crap
