Watch this video followed by the 1996 Exhibition and the 1999 Exhibition performances and it's easy to see how she improved as she matured in terms of presentation and performance. One thing that was always there though were her incredible flowing edges and the way she just seems to float on the ice.

She never did unveil the triple axel in competition, but she never needed to. Her great technique, consistency, and overall beauty speaks for itself.

"What a future" is right. She's increadible...such grace, beauty, and passion at such a young age. There's a freedom in her skating that is unmatched. Beautiful.
