This is part one of 12 - a riveting
mystery series presented by the the Greater Boston Business Chapter of The John Birch Society. Copyright 2008 by Bill McNally. Samuel Blumenfeld, author of The Marlowe-Shakespeare Connection: A New Study of the Authorship Question (McFarland 2008), at The Lord Wakefield Hotel. Blumenfeld addresses the Marlowe-as-Shakespeare theory. As the New York Times reports (9/30/09): "A Marlowe current is rippling through the film world . . . This spring, Natural Nylon films will start shooting 'Marlowe,' a movie that plays with the often debated theory that another writer, or group of writers, wrote the Shakespeare canon. Johnny Depp has been mentioned for the title role, and Jude Law is a likely candidate for the character of Shakespeare." Will the other news outlets pick up on the Marlowe revolution? Stay tuned!

  • All the "evidence" that points towards Shakespeare not writing his plays have been disproven. For example his daughters being illiterate is absolute rubbish.

  • jewish lies

  • I suggest you check out facebook/TrueShakespeare

  • @daver852 thanks but I've done loads of reasearch and read piles of books on the subject and I'm convinced that actor from Stratford wrote nothing, I'm not 100% convinced that De vere was the author, but he seems a far more likely choice than the actor who owned no books had illiterate daughers and could barely sign his own will.. I'll think for myself thanks, I've read deveres other known work and it bears more than passing similarity to the works attributed to shakespeare. nil vero veritus.

  • @cwhanna There are many places on the web where you can read the surviving works of Edward de Vere. They are not very good. I think if you read what de Vere actually wrote, you would never confuse him of being the man who wrote the works attributed to Shakespeare.

  • well done Samuel, a very interesting speech with lots of information.... brilliant in fact !
