Same question was on 4chan. bear would win, a grizzly can get like 680 kg (1500 lbs.). a bears smelling is like 40 times better then a blood hound (ball parking it) so the bear would smell the gorilla before the gorilla even knew there was a such thing as a bear. so winner bear good day sir.

Also the Grizzly will probably win due to strength but if you have an intelligent gorrila it may be able to use a big stick as a weapon (they have been known to use tools) also if the Gorrila climb a tree it can use ranged attack... though it will probably just piss of the bear.

Im going with bear... now if you said Chimpanzee i'd go Chimp (or Orangutan) simply cuz they are epic
