Bruce Springsteen - New York City Serenade

This is from his 1973 album: the Wild, the Innocent and the E Street Shuffle.
I know this is not similar to the stuff I usually post, but give it a try, this song is pure magic whether you're a big fan of Bruce Springsteen or not :)

undescribable, I dont know what to say on this song, it's just to powerful and hmm...magic ... I held this sing in Sweden for the shows "NYC Serenade please"... i really want it, but i dont think he'll play this out-side the US.. even NY NJ. But i really hope to hear this live.

Bruce doesn't play this song often, and it's a shame. I would love to hear a live version of this...When you talk about a show in Sweden, was it during the Magic tour? When was the last time he came to Sweden before that?

Ok, let me start by saying this: The shows in Sweden were FABULOUS AMAZING, i cant come up with anything ells but those word, just amazing show, and they been like that from 1975 till now. You must come to the next show in Sweden. He was in Sweden in 2007 (Mtour) 2006(Seeger tour) 2005 (D&D tour) 2003 (rising)

I've been to two shows in France, for the Magic tour...they were out of this world experiences, I can't think of any other waords to describe them. So there is a particuliar conexion with Swedish audiences?

Yes, i feel this a special connection with the Swedish crowd, it's incredible when Bruce comes to town here. The town turns in to a Bruce town, so that's cool. The bar downtown gothenburg, played Black cowboys all resturants played bruce and, it's just awesome.

I hope he tours soon again, and he will come to Sweden.

I was intoduced to Bruce Springsteen by a college friend in '72. both of us were DJ's on the college radio station. From then on Bruce has been a favorite of mine

I'm so sorry this magic was lost since The River release and has never been recovered in his studio recordings.

This is definetly one of the best in Rock music history.
