Hindenburg Disaster Real Footage (1937) [HD]. Footage of the Nazi airship catching fire, crashing and burning to the ground.

This original footage from the British Pathe archive shows impressive shots of the Hindenburg flying overhead, flying over its landing ground at Lakehurst, New Jersey, and then finally there is footage of the famous crash.

13 out of 36 passengers died, whilst 22 out of 61 crew members died, so many survived the disaster.

Don't forget the poor bastard who died when that blimp fell ON TOP of him. Kinda like me and my my ex-wife...

This wouldn't have happened if Carl Fredrickson had learned to fly, before he stole Charles F. Muntz's airship.

I don't think so. Zeppelins would be quite an easy target moving so slowly. And their size was enormous. Only one man with rifle could take the blimp down!

"16 bags, each filled with Hydrogen - a highly inflammable gas." I don't think that's what they meant.

back then people didn't know that hitler would have later killed 60 million people in a world war that lasted 6 years, in fact a lot of European countries were some what fond of Hitler do to how he managed to fix Germany's economy and solve the unemployment issues in such a short amount of time, and the Nazi party was never meant to be a Jew hating party, when Hitler took power he used the Jews as an excuse for all the problems in the world and persuaded the Nazi party to do what they did.
