  • at least victory admits it!! 60% of harley comes from japan! Vics are american metric.

  • If you are looking for a great bike, Victory should be on your list of bike to see. With the economy being slow, now is an excellent time to buy almost everything, especially motorcycles.

  • Really like the look of this bike, looking forward to go look at one, but because Im a bit virtically challenged whats a good min high to sit comforably on the 8 ball( sorry stupid question but ive been wondering)?

  • @KutWrite Funny. Street Bob was on my short list too. Two things moved me to the Hammer. The test ride and no wire wheels. Wire is beautiful but you have to work like crazy to keep them clean. I would rather spent my time riding than on my knees cleaning. MIght take a look at the Fat Bob too.

  • @vs800rider OK... since I'm tempted toward a Street Bob, ,which is about $16k, maybe the Hammer is for me!

The other thought is, didn't they start making them in Mexico. Not an issue about nationality, as much as their financial need to go offshore and thus, their future.

  • I see the 2011 8-ball comes with the blacked out pipes and the black bullet headlight. Perfect! Glad I waited.

  • @KutWrite $18K is a little steep, but in today's market, one can get it for less. Just need to shop around.

  • @vs800rider $18k is still a little steep (Hammer S). Seems like nice quality, though.

  • Just test rode the 8-ball and i'm a little bit in love. Getting one soon :)

  • Incorrect front tire? You must be thinking of the '07 Harley FXD Superglide, perhaps you've heard of it.
