Yes Hank you are frickin awesome.
You have many friends that care about you, and love you, and accept you, just the way you are. I've told you many times before - and I will tell you again - that I think you are pretty awesome. You are very intelligent, extremely funny, kind, and gorgeous. (I think I might be developing a crush on you! :D )

Wow way to stand up for yourself. By posting this, you're letting others know that they don't have to take mean, negative rants from parents or family just because of who they are.

This is an amazing video. So much to take in. The messages - and their unexpected twists and turns - gripping. The way each note follows the other. Studying your handwriting as they flash past. The bitter-sweet revelation they convey. Feeling admiration for you - and sadness. Plus you have never looked more ... beautiful. Is it the black & white? Or the fact that as you aren't speaking we have to rely on your lovely face plus the written texts? It's all very impressive. Ever your admirer. J.

Great video. Hopefully your family will come around and love you for who you are -- and being gay is an inseparable part of that. You didn't choose it. You were born this way. Kinda silly that your parents, who created you, have a problem with that. Realistically, you have more grounds to be angry with them then they with you. Just saying. Peace.

Hank,
Let's go back to April 18 on Twitter. You asked 'What to do if your child ends up Gay'.
I replied ' Love them for who they are, not for what you think they should be. Acceptance, understanding, compassion and caring is what it's all about.
I will not pass judgement on your family, but, if you were my son, I'd be proud to know you're doing so well with your career, that you have many friends, that you're happy in NYC. What more could a parent want? Gay or Str8, I'd love you!!!
Thanks for all of the wonderful comments everyone. No guy could ask for a community better than this one. Also, a big congrats to Cori Inocencio Daniel who won the give-away for reposting on Facebook. Thanks Cori!!
